February 23, 2017, Latvian president Raimonds Vējonis participated in the ceremony of the opening of a new assembling line at HansaMatrix Ventspils plant.
Newly installed surface mount assembly line will provide additional assembling power of 60’000 assembled components per hour.
“HansaMatrix is an outstanding representative of the electronics industry in Latvia. The progress of the company serves as an excellent example for all of us. We are delighted about all companies which create more job opportunities in Latvia” President Raimonds Vējonis said at the opening ceremony.
“Ventspils manufacturing plant was opened ten years ago. Through all these years the Company has experienced substantial growth and the new already fifth assembly line is yet another development step,” stresses CEO of a company Ilmars Osmanis.
“HansaMatrix Ventspils plant is among the most modern ones in Baltic and Nordic countries. It has installed most modern manufacturing technologies and has grown a young and highly competent technical team,” adds Ventspils plant general manager Aldis Cimoška.
